The summer of 2000 will go do down in
the records as a time with little sunshine. For what seemed
like months the islands remained blanketed in a thick cover
of low cloud and mist.
Throughout this seemingly endless procession
of fog-shrouded days, there were only a few occasions when the
skies cleared and the sun poked through. These few images of the Ring
o' Brodgar were taken on one such day.
