Images of Minehowe - May 2000

These pictures were taken in May 2000, a few days before Minehowe officially opened to the public.

As you will see, comparing these pictures with those taken in November 1999, the cleaning up of the interior of the structure revealed hitherto unseen details of its construction.

Leading down into the chamber, the mud and earth have now been completely cleared away giving a much better view of the ancient steps.
