Images of Minehowe

This section contains a number of photographs taken in and around Minehowe at various times, from its first reopening to the excavations and opening of the monument to the public.

Obviously, the following pages are fairly graphically intensive so will require a reasonably fast Internet connection and a little patience.

Although not massive files, I have minimised compression to keep the quality of the pictures as high as possible.

• Set 1 - Photographs taken shortly after the chamber was reopened for the first time.
• Set 2 - Photographs taken a few days before the monument was opened to the public.
• Set 3 - Photographs taken during the May/June 2000 excavation.
