PAPA STRONSAY

And distinct from that other island lies another, which is called Papa Stronsay, which is very small, and there is one farmer who cultivates it, and in the middle is a very safe [harmless] lake*.

Etymology - the Little Stronsay. From the other a stone's throw.

* - does this refer to the lake's shallowness?
