Dig Diary Extra – Saturday, July 18, 2015

The site from above . . .

Yesterday, we showcased some of the superb photographs captured by Dr Hugo Anderson-Whymark, using his kite camera —  the ‘flying mattress’ as you’ll see it referred to regularly throughout the diary.

Taking a series of individual aerial shots, Hugo has now compiled them into one large image, showing, in detail, the entirety of Trench P.

To display this magnificent image to its very best, we’ve employed some hi-tech trickery, allowing visitors to zoom in, out and pan around the completed photograph.

Move your mouse cursor to the bottom right corner for the zoom controls and click and drag over the picture to pan in all directions. Click on the icon in the top right corner to display full screen.
